Do fabric halls withstand snow load?
Yes, they do. Our PVC tarpaulin halls are fully snow-resistant. The halls' frame structures are always dimensioned according to the locality's snow-load requirements and the site's wind load, and they are designed specifically for Finland's difficult and, above all, variable weather conditions.
What does the price of a fabric hall consist of?
PVC tarpaulin hall prices are made up mostly of their manufacturing costs: the steel frame and its related design, other material costs and installation.
What is the lead time for a PVC hall?
The delivery time for a PVC hall we manufacture depends on the hall's dimensions and model and on the number of upcoming installations. The delivery time for our truss-frame PVC tarpaulin hall starts from just 6 weeks. Arched-frame rental halls can be delivered in about three weeks from order. If you need it by a particular date, do ask whether a faster delivery is possible.
How long do tarpaulins and structures last?
Steel structures are highly durable and can last for decades, while the lifespan of PVC tarpaulin varies between 30 and 60 years depending on conditions and maintenance.
What kind of base does a PVC tarpaulin hall / canopy need?
An asphalt base is the best option, in which case no separate footing elements or foundation are needed. Another option is a frost-free crushed-stone base, which generally requires embedded footing elements for anchoring. The PVC hall R10 can also be erected on a frost-free crushed-stone base without separate footing elements. If there is an existing concrete slab at the site on which the hall is to be erected, this is possible provided the slab's condition and thickness allow it.
How are PVC tarpaulin halls / canopies anchored to the ground?
For asphalt surfaces, halls and canopies are anchored through the asphalt into the underlying ground using ground anchors. On crushed stone foundations, concrete footing elements are used for anchoring. The footing elements are ordered separately and must be installed by the customer prior to the delivery of the fabric hall to the site.
What is the warranty period for halls and canopies?
Our PVC halls have a 10-year frame warranty and a 2-year warranty on the PVC tarpaulin coating.
